Adventures on a Rudimentary Boat

A boat shall

Start sailing

Today.

It would not be

The first boat

To sail on this earth.

For innumerable boats

Have already sailed.

But nevertheless,

It is a special boat

Though rudimentary

But still sturdy.

For it has a soul

Nurtured by righteousness.

The sail cloth sprinkled

With softness of heart

Shall keep tugging on it

And goading it to sail in

The right direction.

And how will

The boat sail

Only time

Can tell.

But for sure

It is going to be

An adventure

For the sailors

Like never before.

For sailing together

And sailing alone

Are entirely different.

Of course

There would be

The moon overhead

And cool breeze

Of midnights

And there would be

Rising waters

Storms and tsunamis

And to soothe

The weary sailors

There would

Be long spells

Of monsoon winds

To enable the sails

Glide over the waters

Whatever it may be

But

For sure it is

Going to be

An adventure

On a rudimentary boat.

So enjoy the adventure

Different sailor now

And, yes, sail well.
